New Features

BenchPrep’s Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) support

We are excited to introduce our support for Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI), an education technology standard that simplifies communication between learning systems.

BenchPrep has successfully completed the LTI 1.3 Tool certification process. Our platform is certified as conformant with 1EdTech requirements, allowing customers to seamlessly integrate BenchPrep with LTI-compliant systems, including popular platforms like Blackboard Learn, Moodle, and more. BenchPrep offers a range of LTI capabilities, such as branch and tenant level tool creation, multi-deployment support, multi-course to tool relationships, global LTI role to BenchPrep role mapping, and group assignment.

BenchPrep’s support for LTI brings numerous advantages, including an enhanced learner experience by eliminating the need for multiple login credentials, robust privacy and security through cutting-edge security frameworks, content accuracy by maintaining a single source in BenchPrep, and significant time and resource savings due to a seamless integration, accelerating speed to market.

Self-service Materials now available

Customers can now directly upload Materials within BluePrint, enabling a more streamlined process and quicker access to the resources you need, which was formerly completed via support requests.

With this release, you’ll have more control over instructor materials, which were previously available in Boost, and your Toolbox items, which remain in the same place. Learner materials will still be available in their current location.

We’ll provide additional details and resources regarding self-service Materials following our release on November 8th.

Expanding Banners to Learning Hub and BluePrint

We’ve expanded Banner capabilities in both Learning Hub and BluePrint. With this release, you can now deploy Banners for an enhanced user experience in both environments.

Learning Hub users will now have the ability to deploy banners to learners or specific sets of learners, offering a more personalized and engaging learning experience. BluePrint administrators can utilize banners in their content management system to enhance communication and engagement.

Just like in Console, you can customize who sees your banners by targeting specific audiences, ensuring your messages reach the right individuals. Explore the new "Banners" feature and unlock the full potential of your communication strategy.

Enhancements

New ‘Expand all’ and ‘Collapse all’ navigation options within Lessons

Sections within Highlights, Confidence Levels, and Table of Contents are now collapsed by default, providing a cleaner and more focused interface for learners. Learners can still expand or collapse each section individually, giving them the flexibility to dive deep into the content as they prefer. Additionally, in Highlights, Confidence Levels, and Table of Contents, learners will find new 'Expand all' and 'Collapse all' options, allowing them to navigate your learning materials with ease.
