The following items will be deployed on July 24, 2025. Please note that this list doesn’t include other internal and regular maintenance work that BenchPrep is releasing.

New Features and Enhancements

New Ways to Award Recognitions

We’ve expanded the available criteria for awarding recognitions in your courses, giving you more flexibility in how you celebrate learner achievements. You can now issue recognitions based on the completion of the following:

  • Lesson Categories: Recognize learners for completing all or a percentage of lessons within a specific category.
  • Question Categories: Celebrate mastery when learners complete all or a percentage of questions within a defined category.
  • External Assets (e.g., SCORM/Rustici): Recognitions can now be awarded based on either the completion state or passing status of external content. Admins have the flexibility to choose which condition triggers the recognition, and this applies to both BenchPrep-native and asset-based courses.

These updates make it easier to tailor recognition criteria to the structure of your course and the behaviors you want to encourage. All new criteria can be configured within the recognition creation flow in BluePrint.

Report Content Errors in Asset-Based Courses

Learners can now submit content feedback for asset-based courses directly from the Learning Hub, just like they can in BenchPrep-native courses. Submitted feedback appears in BluePrint under the User Feedback section, and admins will receive email notifications when new feedback is submitted.

Improvements to Branch Plan User Management

Admins can now select which learnables a user should access when assigning them to a Branch Plan in Console. Previously, assigning a user to a Branch Plan automatically enrolled them in all included learnables.

With this update, the new step in the user assignment flow allows you to choose specific learnables (including courses, events, learning paths, and more) based on your organization’s needs. This gives admins more control over user access and contract fulfillment.

Feedback Email Settings Now Manageable in Console

We're making it easier for customers to control where learner feedback is sent. The feature access now allows admins to list the email addresses that receive feedback submitted through WebApp. This enhancement gives customers more control over their feedback workflows and ensures that learner feedback is routed to the right stakeholders.

Confidence Levels Now Configurable at the Branch Level

We've expanded Feature Access settings for Confidence Levels in Console. In addition to course-level configuration, Confidence Level Marking feature accesses can now also be set at the branch level. Settings include the following:

  • Confidence Level Marking During Practice Questions is Required
  • Confidence Level Marking During Practice Questions is Optional
  • Confidence Level Marking During Exams is Optional
  • Confidence Level Marking During Exams is Required
  • Hide Confidence Levels on all Lessons

This added flexibility allows you to tailor confidence level functionality more precisely across different parts of your organization, aligning with how you structure courses and user groups.

Study Plan Progress Now Reflects Only Unlocked Content

Study Plans will now calculate progress, achievements, and Knowledge Goals based only on the content a learner has access to. Locked premium content is excluded until it is unlocked, ensuring that learners’ progress and completion status accurately reflect their available study material.
