# May 4, 2023 Release

The following items will be deployed on May 4, 2023. Please note that this list doesn’t include other internal and regular maintenance work that BenchPrep is releasing.

New Features

**Enhanced role management within Console**

Console Admins can now edit custom role permissions after they have been assigned. Previously, an Admin’s ability to modify permissions was restricted once a role was assigned. This update enhances the Console experience and offers more flexibility and control within role management.

To learn more about custom roles, visit the article [here](https://support.benchprep.com/kb/section/255/).
