May 25, 2023 Release

The following items will be deployed on May 25, 2023. Please note that this list doesn’t include other internal and regular maintenance work that BenchPrep is releasing.

New Features

Full course configuration toolset now available in BluePrint

Within our 4/13 product release, we announced the first phase of our flexible new course configuration toolset. We are excited to release the second phase of this feature, which will be available in our 5/25 release.

The second phase introduces a revamped page called “Study Plan,” previously known as “Study Task Group.” This page enables content creators to quickly create entire courses of content within study tasks from one centralized location. With this flexible interface in BluePrint, users can efficiently create highly specific and customized courses. Content creators can utilize the Study Plan page to generate new study tasks, study task groups, and new content all at once. They can also directly associate each element with corresponding study tasks.

Enhanced user management in Console

New self-service bulk action capabilities in Console provide improved time-to-value and efficiency for Admins, allowing for quick importing of multiple users, and assigning and removing roles as needed. Plus, for organizations employing the Enterprise Engine multi-tenancy extension to Console, bulk actions can be leveraged in combination with the Branches hierarchy.

Improved propagation logic for images and files

Updated images and supplementary files in bank courses will now overwrite previous versions in child courses during content propagation. When propagating from bank courses, course creators can ensure that the latest images and files are consistent across all child courses, providing a seamless course experience for learners.
