The following items will be deployed on June 12, 2025. Please note that this list doesn’t include other internal and regular maintenance work that BenchPrep is releasing.

New Features and Enhancements

Enhancements to Custom Practice

Custom Practice just got a major upgrade! Learners now have more control than ever to tailor their study sessions to their needs, making practice more targeted, efficient, and effective. Meanwhile, admins get the benefits of powerful configuration without the overhead. Practice questions can now be filtered by:

  • Category
  • Difficulty Level
  • Question Status (e.g. previously unseen, missed, or answered incorrectly)

Admins can disable the ability for learners to select between Timed/Untimed sessions and Exam/Study Mode.

These features are configurable behind the scenes, allowing you to deliver a personalized, data-informed practice experience with no extra setup or maintenance.

Important Note: These enhancements to Custom Practice will only be available for customers using the latest version of BenchPrep’s platform UI. To make the transition, please contact your Customer Success Manager.

Curriculum Insights Available in Console Analytics Dashboards

Tracking learner progress just got easier. We’ve added curriculum-level visibility to two key dashboards in Console, giving admins a clearer picture of how users are progressing through their learning paths.

  • Branch Group Course Detail Dashboard now includes a Curriculum Breakdown Summary pivot widget, helping you quickly assess how different groups are performing across curriculums.
  • User Course Detail Dashboard features a new Curriculum tab, offering a simple snapshot of each learner’s engagement, scores, and task completion across their assigned curriculums.

These enhancements make it easier to identify learning trends, spot gaps, and report on progress so you can support learners more effectively and make faster decisions.

Smarter Curriculum Assignment with Group Automation

Save time and reduce manual work with a new way to assign curriculum. You can now link groups directly to curriculums, so when a user joins a group, they’re automatically enrolled in the right learning path with no extra steps required.

  • Assign Groups During Curriculum Setup
In Blueprint, navigate to the new Groups tab while setting up a curriculum. Use the search and branch filters to find the right groups, preview members, and select one or more groups to assign. These learners will automatically gain access to the curriculum.
  • Automatic Enrollment and Removal
Once a group is assigned, learners are automatically enrolled. If someone leaves the group, they’re automatically removed from the curriculum. This works for both active and inactive users, reducing admin overhead.
  • View Assigned Groups in Curriculum Details
After setup, the new Assigned Groups section in the Curriculum Details page shows all linked groups. Click any group name to quickly jump to its Console details page for further management.

Separate Resets for Exam and Practice Questions

We’ve split the question reset functionality into two distinct feature accesses: Allow Practice Question Resets and Allow Exam Resets. This update gives admins greater control over when and how learners can reset question sets, depending on the experience you want to deliver.

To ensure a smooth transition, any course or tenant that previously had the reset feature enabled will have both new permissions enabled by default. No action is required on your part, and you can fine-tune access as needed.

Blueprint Discussions: Attachment Access

Admins can view discussion post attachments directly from the User Discussions section in Blueprint. No more jumping to WebApp just to see what's attached so content moderation and insight gathering is more efficient.

Replicator Cart Now Supports Difficulty Levels

When replicating questions via the Replicator Cart, difficulty levels are now included. Previously only available during full-course replication, this update makes it easier to maintain metadata consistency in cart-based replication workflows.
