New ExamSim Features to Support and Improve the Learner Experience
- In-Session Support Tools
ExamSim now supports a variety of helpful tools that can be enabled to appear during practice and exams. These include a Calculator, Whiteboard, Highlighter, Scrap Paper, and Periodic Table. Each tool is designed to give learners easy access to the support they need without leaving the test environment.
When more than two tools are enabled, they’ll appear together in an organized toolbox-style menu, helping learners stay focused with everything in one place. This update enhances the testing experience while keeping the interface clean and distraction-free.
- More Functionalities in the ExamSim Experience
Learners can now flag issues like typos, unclear wording, or incorrect answers using the Report Content Errors feature, and also mark their Confidence Level directly on each question screen. These enhancements provide a direct feedback loop for content teams while also helping learners reflect on their own performance. Both features can be enabled or disabled through Feature Access settings in Blueprint, giving admins full control over the experience.

Bulk User Deactivation via CSV Upload
We’ve added support for CSV-based bulk deactivation of users in Console. Designed for organizations managing large learner populations, admins and branch managers can now:
- Deactivate users in bulk via CSV
- Optionally remove group associations
- Manage large user lists quickly without manual selection
Learning Hub: Embedded assets no longer included in interaction progress bar
Assets embedded within lessons are no longer included in the interaction progress bar in Learning Hub. This change ensures that progress more accurately reflects what appears in the course navigation, bringing Learning Hub progress tracking in line with the WebApp experience.
Richer Descriptions for Learning Paths
Learning Path descriptions now support rich text formatting through a WYSIWYG editor. Add structure with bold, italics, lists, and links, with no HTML required. This makes learning objectives clearer and more engaging across Blueprint, Console, and Learning Hub.

Sticky Video Settings in WebApp
To improve learner experience in video-heavy courses, Closed Captioning (CC) and playback speed settings are now sticky within a session. Once turned on, these preferences persist as learners navigate across videos—especially helpful for accessibility and efficiency.
