New Features
Enhanced course management for course deactivation
We've introduced a new feature that allows admins (and other users with the deactivate:content_packages permission) to set course deactivation dates within Console. This functionality prevents access for current, new, or upcoming enrollments via self-service or automatic upload, including asset-based content packages. This feature provides admins the ability to self-service the deactivation or expiration of a course, simplifying retirement tasks and ensuring better control over existing course access and other types of enrollments. Please note that once a course is deactivated, it cannot be reversed without assistance from our Support team. If users are enrolled in a course at the time of deactivation, this course will appear as expired to users. Therefore, it is recommended to notify all users still enrolled in a course before it is set to be deactivated.

Manage user accounts with bulk deactivation
We’ve introduced the ability to bulk deactivate user accounts in Console, enabling you to select and deactivate multiple users simultaneously. Upon completion, you will receive a notification email confirming the deactivation. Prior to this feature admin would need to go to a user account and deactivate one at a time. This allows multiple deactivations with just clicking a checkbox and executing on the action.
More on bulk deactivation can be found here.
Enhancements
New feature access for notes in lessons and practice questions
We've introduced two new feature access options that allow admins to disable note-taking on lessons and practice questions. Admins who prefer their learners not to take notes can now turn off this feature. Please note, if the notes feature is disabled, any previously saved notes will no longer be accessible.
