New Features

New question type ‘Hot Area’

We’ve introduced a new question type ‘Hot Area,’ expanding on our existing hot spot question type. This question type enables users to create interactive assessments with multiple clickable areas on images, requiring more than one correct spot to be selected for the answer. This new feature empowers BluePrint users to create new types of questions, providing greater flexibility and diversity in assessment creation. Content creators can now craft more engaging assessments, fostering deeper understanding and retention among learners. Learners, in turn, can interact with content in a visually immersive way, enriching their overall learning experience.

Introducing strikethrough formatting in Practice Questions and Tests

We’ve introduced a new feature access, ‘Strikethrough Practice Question Content’ which is accessible at both the tenant and course levels. This feature provides learners with the ability to strikethrough any text they select. When engaging with practice content, learners will notice a new icon alongside the existing highlight icon, allowing easy access to this feature. For tests, enabling this feature can be done through Testing tools configuration in BluePrint.

The strikethrough functionality applies to passages, question content, and answer content, supporting both standard questions and side-by-side questions. The feature access will be turned off by default.

This addition to learner tools offers learners greater control and flexibility in interacting with text-based content.

Enhancements

Enhanced plan editing for existing users

We've introduced an enhancement to plan editing in Console for both Tenant and Branch Plans, allowing updates to the plans to affect existing users. With this update, Admins now have the flexibility to apply plan updates to all users, including both existing and new ones, or solely to new users. Within Branch Plans, this includes course additions and removals for existing users, while in Tenant Plans, only course additions can apply to existing users. This enhancement provides Admins with greater control over redeemed plans, ultimately enhancing management efficiency. Users with invalid licenses will not be affected by any plan modifications.
