An Update on BenchPrep’s 2023 Product Roadmap

Navigating change and innovation: a peek into BenchPrep's revised H2 2023 Roadmap

With more than half of 2023 in our rearview mirror, BenchPrep is accelerating toward the end of the year and beyond with several exciting product updates to take your learning programs to the next level. Throughout the year, we have enjoyed informative conversations with our customers, advisors, and thought leaders in the industry. Your valuable input and support have been instrumental in shaping BenchPrep's investments toward enhancing our platform to better suit your objectives.

As we initially outlined our plans for this year, we aimed to deliver an array of features and capabilities to improve your distribution capabilities, and your learners’ experience. Before highlighting some newly prioritized initiatives for H2, let’s recap the key items and features that were initially planned for 2023.

In the first half of 2023, we successfully delivered all initiatives as planned – an achievement that would not have been possible without your support and insightful feedback. Notable features and capabilities include the new Enterprise Engine, analytics dashboards in Console, improved Course Configuration, Dynamic Exams, Premium Content, enhanced Milestone configuration capabilities, and much more

The roadmap is dynamic and continuously reassessed to always deliver the highest-value functionality as soon as possible. That said, the following have been prioritized for development in the coming months.

  1. AI-Powered Question Creation: New AI-powered question generation capabilities and associated workflows will be introduced in BluePrint, enabling your organization to optimize the value of your content to provide greater value for learners.
  2. LTI Enhancements: As we look forward to the rest of 2023,  we are excited to expand our Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) 1.3 Tool capabilities. This will enable enhanced distribution capabilities from Console - particularly with respect to academic models, and we are expanding scope in H2 to unlock even greater flexibility and efficiency.
  3. Universal Dashboard: The forthcoming new Universal Dashboard in the Learning Hub application introduces high-level learner metrics, in addition to category-level metrics.
  4. Transcripts: Learners will gain the ability to access and save/print a transcript within the Learning Hub.
  5. Self-Serve Continuing Education (CE): In the interest of better powering continuing education, the scope of the previously planned Credit Issuance capability is being expanded to include self-service credit criteria and value configuration within the BluePrint User Interface.
  6. Additional Feature Requests: In addition to planned roadmap initiatives, we strive to be responsive in prioritizing and delivering upon requests that create value for your organization, and have added budget for feature requests in H2. Accordingly, we encourage you to continue to share problems and opportunities with your Customer Success Manager for evaluation.

We hope you are as excited about these changes as we are. The new additions to the roadmap will enhance the learning experience for both you and your learners, enable seamless integrations with external systems, and provide greater flexibility in managing your learning programs.

In order to invest resources in the above, select previously planned initiatives listed below will be considered in the future:

  • Connected Accounts: Connected Accounts functionality enables individuals provisioned access to multiple Branches within a Tenant the ability to seamlessly navigate between their Branches and the associated experiences and permissions.
  • Private Discussions: Private Discussions enhance the learner experience and timely access to subject matter expertise in an Instructor-Supported Self-Paced and/or Instructor-Led learning experience.
  • Events Center: New to Console, and accessible from BluePrint, the Events Center enables centralized creation, management, delivery, and tracking of events to be delivered as Instructor-Led Learning.

As always, we value your feedback and encourage you to continue sharing your insights with us. Together, we will make BenchPrep a more exceptional platform that meets and exceeds your expectations.
