The following items will be deployed on September 24, 2026. Please note that this list doesn’t include other internal and regular maintenance work that BenchPrep is releasing.
Group Managers can now view additional practice and exam performance metrics for each learner, including questions correct, total available questions, and overall percentage scores.
These new columns are available in the User table within Course Reports:
These metrics make it easy to evaluate learner performance on practice and exam activity independently (without lesson completion factoring into the numbers) and can be exported alongside existing report data.
These columns can be turned on in Feature Access under Course Reports > User Report Tab > User Report Table.
Score warning threshold in BenchPrep Analytics is now configurable, replacing the previously hardcoded 50% cutoff used to flag low average scores.
This setting can be turned on and configured through Feature Access and applies across all score-flagging surfaces in Analytics — including User Reports, Course Reports, and Branch Reports — covering exam attempts, practice categories, practice sessions, question detail, and assignment detail views.
Organizations that hold learners to a higher performance bar can now ensure their dashboards reflect that standard accurately.

Admins can now configure a dedicated usage guide within the AI Assistant, giving learners a clear place to find best practices, FAQs, and privacy information before or during a conversation.
This gives organizations the flexibility to set expectations, share safety tips, and help learners get the most out of the AI Assistant in a clean view.
Go to Console > AI Settings > Custom FAQ to add FAQs, edit and reorder content, toggle individual FAQs on or off, or remove outdated information.

Admins can now exclude specific question categories from appearing in Custom Practice, giving organizations more control over the learner experience.
When Custom Practice is enabled in Feature Access, an “Excluded From Custom Practice” checkbox will now appear when creating new Question Categories.
This is especially valuable when a course contains categories that aren't intended to be mixed into standard practice sessions. Excluded categories won't appear as options when learners build a Custom Practice session, keeping the experience focused and relevant.

Question Content previews can now be propagated across courses in BluePrint, bringing them in line with other question content that already supports propagation.
Previously, content previews were excluded from propagation, requiring manual updates across courses when preview content changed. This update ensures that question previews stay consistent everywhere they're used, reducing manual effort for content teams.
Organizations now have more granular control over who can manage exam reset limits at the branch level in Console.
A new Feature Configurations permission in branch settings allows custom roles to manage a branch's exam reset limit without granting broader permissions to update other branch settings. Reset limits configured at the branch level apply only to learners within that branch. If no branch-specific limit is set, the course-level reset limit will continue to apply.
To manage this, select the Branch > Settings > Feature Configuration > Allow Exam Resets and input the number of reset limits.
We've expanded enrollment visibility for branch and group managers across Console, including BenchPrep Analytics.
When the BenchPrep-managed “View All Group & Branch Enrollments” Feature Access is enabled, managers can view all enrollments for learners associated with branches or groups within their scope, even when an enrollment itself falls outside that branch or group.
This provides managers with a more complete view of the learners they oversee and their enrollments throughout Console and reporting.
Learners can now give Custom Practice sessions an optional name and see the categories practiced in each session directly from the dashboard.
In the event that a Custom Practice session is launched from a Study Task or Assignment created by an instructor or admin, the session automatically inherits its name. These updates make it easier to identify past sessions, recall what was covered, and quickly find the right practice to review.
The Custom Practice dashboard can now display the content categories covered in each session, so learners can see at a glance what topics they worked on without having to open the full session review.
Categories appear as tags on each session card, with a “+ more” link that opens the full list along with each category's question count. On mobile, the full category list opens in a full-screen view. This is especially helpful for learners with a high volume of sessions who want to quickly identify which ones are worth revisiting.
This feature is disabled by default. To enable it, turn on “Custom Practice: Show Practiced Categories” in Feature Access.
When a learner ends a Custom Practice session before completing all questions, unanswered questions now retain their previous state, such as correct or incorrect. Previously, these unanswered questions would be returned to the "unseen" question pool.
For example, if a learner starts a session with 20 previously incorrect questions and answers only five before ending the session, the remaining 15 will continue to be categorized as incorrect rather than becoming "unseen." This allows learners to return to those questions for targeted practice in future sessions without losing their previous question history.
This update applies to Study Mode only. Exam Mode behavior remains unchanged.
We've improved how Dynamic Exams handle question updates after an exam has gone live, preventing disruptions for learners who have already started or completed an exam.
Previously, deleting questions from a live dynamic exam could prevent affected learners from completing or re-completing the exam. This update ensures that exam results and question pools are handled gracefully when content changes occur, keeping the exam experience intact for all learners regardless of when they started.
Learners can now set an alias from Learning Hub > My Account > Account to use in place of their account name in public discussions and leaderboards. This gives learners greater control over how their name is displayed to other users.
