The following items will be deployed on June 11, 2026. Please note that this list doesn’t include other internal and regular maintenance work that BenchPrep is releasing.
We've added new learner activity and engagement fields to the Course Report → User Detail table to provide deeper insights into student performance and participation.
New columns include:
These columns can be enabled or disabled through Feature Accesses → Analytics → User Report Tab → Customize User Report Table, allowing organizations to tailor reporting views to their specific needs.
Together, these enhancements provide a more comprehensive view of learner progress and engagement across courses.
Assignment task data is now included across key reporting experiences in BenchPrep.
Previously, assignment activity was not consistently reflected across reporting views. With this update, assignment data is now available in task reports, reporting data points, and enrollment-level reporting, giving admins more complete visibility into learner progress at both the course and user level.

Admins can now edit which courses and learnables a user can access after they have already been added to a branch plan.
Previously, admins could select specific course access when first adding a user to a branch plan, but updating that access later required removing and re-adding the user. With this update, admins can use the new edit option on the branch plan user list to add or remove course access for an existing user.
Any updated enrollments will continue to follow the same branch plan license expiration date, helping admins manage access changes without disrupting the user’s overall plan timeline.
We've expanded the Content Tag visibility controls to make it easier to manage which tags appear across BenchPrep reporting experiences.
The existing Learner Analytics visibility setting has been renamed to Analytics and now controls whether a Content Tag appears in both Learner Analytics and Console Analytics. When enabled, the tag will be available as a reporting dimension across analytics experiences. When disabled, the tag will be hidden from both reporting areas.
This update provides a single, centralized way to manage Content Tag visibility and helps keep analytics views focused on the data that matters most to your organization.
Learners can now upload Microsoft Word (.docx) documents, ppt, zip, and MP4 video files when submitting assignments.
Previously, submissions were limited to a smaller set of supported file types, which created challenges for courses that required document-based or video-based submissions. With this update, learners can submit different files directly through the assignment workflow, giving instructors greater flexibility in how assignments are completed and assessed.
All existing upload safeguards, including maximum file size of 25mb and security validations, continue to apply.
