July 27, 2023 Release

The following items will be deployed on July 27, 2023. Please note that this list doesn’t include other internal and regular maintenance work that BenchPrep is releasing.

New Features

External Assets now available in Console Analytics

Console users now have the ability to view and track progress on learner engagement with externally-authored Assets directly from Console's User Dashboard. This upgrade enables Console users to gain better visibility into learners' engagement with external resources, facilitating data-driven decisions for future content enhancements and curriculum design.

Removal of ‘Load More’ button on Study Plans

We have eliminated the need for learners to click the 'load more' option multiple times on the Study Plan. Instead, all Study Plans will now be automatically loaded, streamlining the user experience.

Enhancements

New ‘Completed’ status feature within lesson confidence

We have added a new “Completed” status to help learners better track their study progress. When the “Hide Confidence Levels on All Lessons" option is enabled or individual lesson confidence levels are disabled in BluePrint, this status will appear. Whenever learners view lesson content, the corresponding lessons in the study plan will automatically be marked as "Completed." This aligns with the current behavior of tracking viewed lessons, simplifying the process for learners to monitor their progress accurately.

With this enhancement, Content Managers will now have access to more precise data regarding learners' lesson completion. This will contribute to better tracking of learner performance and enable content optimization. In the past, when learners pressed "Continue" on such lessons, their confidence level was automatically marked as "High." However, this will now be replaced with the "Completed" status. For lessons where confidence levels are disabled, the "Continue" button previously visible will be replaced with "Mark as Read."
